Service Foods, Upper Hutt

Service Foods, Upper Hutt, is a major, modern distribution branch of New Zealand’s largest family-owned food service distributor. Located in the region to service the hospitality industry, the facility is a national wholesale food distributor made up four divisions: Butchery, Produce, Seafood and Essentials. They offer locally produced and imported items with specialised, temperature-controlled delivery.

Problem: Customer needed a new purpose built building for food packaging and delivery.
Solution: Excel Switchgear delivered a new Main Switchboard and several Distribution Boards and a Generator connection panel.
Impact: Enabled reliable operations with modernised electrical infrastructure.
